I Heart Kaua'i

Today Fermin and I drove over to the North Shore of Kaua'i.

It doesn't look that far on the map, but because the speed limit is often 25mph, the roads are very winding, and believe it or not, every now and then, we hit a bit of "traffic", it took a little over an hour and a half to get there.

This was our first stop along the way...

This is the lighthouse-

And this is us!

If I went to church, and if I lived in Kaua'i, this is where I'd have to go!

I love these one-laned bridges!

Next, we did a little hiking~

But as so often happens, low blood sugar cut our trip a bit short.  :(

But nothing here in Hawaii doesn't end well.  We met a new family in the parking~

Found a little cave on our way out~

And then, we found a great spot to eat on the way home...

Love, love, love Kaua'i-

And love is everywhere here!
