Treasures I Have Found

My friend has let me start tagging along with her to estate sales the last few months.  Sadly, we are now on about an 8 week hiatus due to some stupid jewelry making class she's taking!  :(

Yes, I could go it alone, or find another estate sale shopping buddy, but she and I have it down to an art that I'm afraid wouldn't turn out as sweet if I tried to do it without her.

Since I'm out of commission for a couple of months, I thought I'd post up some photos of my favorite recent finds...
My sweet broken winged angel-  I love her. And she was only $5!  Are you kidding me?
Our mirror that now hangs over our newly styled mantle that my uber-talented hubby recently completed.
Coo-coo!  Soon to be hung in my dining room.  Only $10!! what???
I love, love, love this very 70s butterfly pendant that I hung on a string of beads.  i've been wearing this a LOT!
Clearly, this was meant for me- a lipstick holder with a sweet little guitarist attached. Don't remember the price, but I know it was a steal, whatever it was!

I'm with Moyra! love the necklace. I used to have a yard sale buddy and she was like my good luck charm-I could only find great things when I went with her!

Wow, great discoveries! There are stoop sales all over Brooklyn in the summer, I need to be better about stopping at some of them.

You are great at scoring awesome finds! Thanks sooo much for visiting my blog with such sweet comments! Until you dropped by, I would have never believed that people would actually visit my blog after being featured seeing my work in an issue!

Hugs!

Kerri- what fun finds! If I were in Texas, I'd be your "fill in" tag sale buddy. :D I used to go to the Rose Bowl here in LA years ago consistently and found some way cool stuff! Lot's of vases (McCoy, Roseville, Weller) at the time and painted furniture- all of which I still love today.

BTW... your voice is lovely too!
Thanks for stopping by my blog-- I'll be checking in on you too. hugs from LA... Valerie

What a lot of delicious finds! Does the clock actually have a cuckoo? You are a clearly talented bargain-finder!

Excellent finds! I really like the lipstick holder too...I've never even seen one of those and now I feel I must have one too. (Even though I only wear one shade of lipstick that I typically carry around in my purse....) :o)

yes!! the coo coo has a coo coo-- but she's quite quick moving so my camera couldn't get a shot of her! :)

I love estate sales. I don't know why I don't like to go alone, though. I am really envious of your lipstick holder (and I rarely wear lipstick). So COOL! :)
