Incredible Things

I bought this cool little handmade pendant at a craft fair not too long ago.  I paid for it, I put it in my purse, I got home with it, showed it off to my husband and then~  misplaced it for over a month.

Oh no!  Losing something with such a beautiful statement to myself felt like a bad omen.
And just when I thought I might never find it, that perhaps I had mistakenly thrown it out~ I found it.

I have been wearing it almost constantly since.

I've never tried positive affirmations before, but I've heard they're powerful.  I want to do some incredible things.  I want that SHE stamped on the pendant to be ME!

So I wear this around my neck.  I touch it often.  And I repeat the phrase in my head many times a day.

SHE CAN DO INCREDIBLE THINGS

Yes, you can do incredible things because you have done so many incredible things, dahling!! But sometimes we have to remind ourselves that we're capable of doing anything.

So glad you found your beautiful pendant!

And you crack me up about sending my "mistakes" your way! Funny how one woman's mistakes may be another's treasure?!?!

Happy New Year, Kerri!!!!!!!!!

Love the saying! I was just thinking about what saying I wanted to do on necklace for myself. Still haven't played around with the silver clay, hopefully next week.

The song is Smile by Uncle Cracker, love them!!!!

Wonderful words...and a lovely necklace too, love rustic feel of it.
I really enjoyed reading your resolution revolution too :) I'm so with you on all of them (well except for the cd...you haven't heard me sing!)and definitely the passionate kissing....Stu and I formed a pact when we first met not to end up an old comfortable couple who just give each other a peck on the cheek! haha!
Wishing you a wonder-filled 2011, jam packed with all the incredible things you have done :)

Hi Kerri -
"You are a magnet
that attracts to you
all that you focus your thoughts,
emotions and energies on."

This is the quote I'm starting my blog spot today and then I hopped over to yours and saw this. You inspired me even more to write about something I so believe in. I love that necklace. Let us know what good things wearing it and believing in it brings you.

You DO do incredible things, and I have no doubt you will continue to do so! I've been meaning to write you for the longest time--I LOVE the new album (er...CD. I'll never get used to that.) I listened to it for most of the day, each day this week, and I just love it. "Flower on the Wall" is my favorite. I'm so proud of you!
