| CD Baby |
Not only do I sell my own cds on this site, but I buy other's! You
can find all genres of music put out by independant artists. It's
good to support the "little guys" after all. You can click
on "search", and then it will prompt you with "sounds
like..." and you can type in the name of artists that you like
and they'll pull up similar-sounding people. You can listen to the
songs and if you find something you like, you can order the cd. It's
a great little company, and it's a really fun site to visit. Be forewarned
though, this one could take up a lot of your time! |
| The Happiness Project |
The author of this blog is in the "research" phase of
writing a memoir about a year of testing out all tips, theories, scientific
studies, etc. about how to be happy. The blog is a big part of her
overall project and it's fun to read. Wednesday is always "tip
day"- stuff like "How to Stay Motivated to Excercise",
and "Tips for Getting Good Sleep". I wish I had thought
of her idea and was doing her project. But I'm glad I've stumbled
upon her blog. |

I'm a huge fan of Bob's and his site is great. You can listen to
all of his songs AND hear his funny commentary on each one. It's been
up there for a while because the album isn't that new anymore, but
if you've never visited the site, it will be new for you, right?!

This is my friends blog. She started writing it when she was living
in NYC (aha, "Big City"!) for other Mom's about cool products,
books, tips, etc. for Mom's and their kids. I love to check it and
see the beautiful pictures of her daughter. I'm NOT a Mom (of a human
anyway) but it's still fun for me to read it. If you're a Mom you
should MOST DEFINITELY check it out. |

This could potentially be my new favorite site! I just was turned
on to it and it's the best concept, one I've been looking for for
YEARS. If you go to this site and type in an artist (I'm talking music,
btw...) that you love, they'll pick other stuff they consider to have
a similar sound and then you get to hear them, and find out what cd
the song is on. This will keep you busy for hours! I love a new discovery- |
