I have been obsessed with this song lately.
I had no idea who it was, other than seeing that the band is called DNCE. (How do you say that anyway?!--- I have no idea.)
I told one of my friends how much I was in love with the song, and then about an hour later I got a text from him, sarcastically thanking me, because he had just shown the "inappropriate" video to his daughter. I didn't tell him I loved the video-- I just love the song. I hadn't even seen the video. But of course, if he deems it "inappropriate" for a 9-year-old, it sounded like something worth checking out!
And so I did!
So this mix is slightly different than the radio-friendly version. But words never offend me. Nor do bikinis or cake.
But I was a little offended to see that this band is led by Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. WHAT?! But still, I can't help but love this song. It makes me want to go eat cake by the ocean right about now...

High Five to Turning 5 Today!
My boy, Ricky Ricardo, is 5 today.
5 years young, that is!
I think Ricky was made especially for me. I love every single thing about him, and he always brings a smile to my face. He's smart, he's funny, he's a cuddler, and he loves going on walks with me. He's a great big brother to Lucy. And he's nice to everyone he meets. But he makes it clear that I'm his number one!
I just couldn't love him any more than I do. He gives me hugs all the time, and when he does, he puts his paws on my shoulders and pulls me in towards him and gives me kisses. So I know as much as I love him, the feeling is mutual.
So High-Five, my sweet and handsome boy. You're the best boyfriend a girl could ever have.
