My Romance

This has long been my favorite love song.  I'm especially fond of James Taylor's version.  Every simple line in this song rings so true.  So I decided to sing my own version of it today for my husband.

Please pardon my mush, but it is Valentine's Day weekend after all.  Have a happy one...

My romance doesn't need to have a moon in the sky
My romance doesn't need a blue lagoon standing by
No month of May, no shining stars
No hidaway, and no soft guitar

My romance doesn't need a castle rising in Spain
Or a dance to a constantly surprising refrain
Wide awake I can make my most fantastic dreams come true
'Cuz my romance it doesn't need a thing but you...

You do have a beautiful voice. And it's very nice you are singing for your hubby. I am making his Valentine's Day Card. I started making his cards last year when I broke my ankle and couldn't get out to buy one. I made his V-Day card, b-day card and his Christmas card last year and his 2011 V-day card is in progress.

Happy Valentine's Day...I am listening to the end of Sleepless in Seattle and Jimmy Durante's "make someone Happy....many times, the oldies are the goodies!

"Love is the answer, someone to love is the answer...."

I love it Kerri! Your voice, the song, the photos, the idea behind it! Commercials might like us to believe romance is about expensive getaways and chocolates, but it really comes down to being with the person you love! You and your hubby make a beautiful couple! xoxo

Wonderful rendition Kerri and you two are as gorgeous a couple as that song is.

I've always thought you were beautiful and I've seen a pic or two here and there of your husband but this is the most I've seen of him and I've gotta say he is one good lookin' fella.

I'm looking forward to meeting the both of you some time.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
